Finally Arrived!

I finally arrived in Paris this morning as of 10am. It is so beautiful! I am staying right near the Bastille area of Paris which is lively, fun, and full of great things to do! I just had a drink at a little bar called "Corsica" on Rue de Lappe with friends where we sat on little leather chairs practically on the sidewalk. It seems as though I am already enjoying the culture immensely! We have orientation for school tomorrow as well as a French placement exam. I didn't realize how much of language barrier there really would be and I hope to learn French quickly. I've already made some nice friends and hope to continue to make more soon. It is a bit overwhelming and the jet lag is setting in a bit as I write this but I am very excited for all of my experiences to come!
